On 9/11/14 at 7:33 a.m., Laura J. Decare, 43, of 116 A Skyline Dr., Oswego, NY was operating a 2013 Chevrolet Suburban stopped on SR 104 at the intersection with SR 3 when her vehicle was reportedly rear ended by a 2001 Chevrolet being operated by Kelly L. Hopkins, 16, of 135 Albion Cross Rd., Albion, NY that was traveling east on SR 104 and when attempting to apply the brake, her sandal got caught. Ms. Hopkins was issued a UTT for Following too Closely. A passenger in the suburban, Haylee M. Decare, 7 was transported by ambulance to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse.

On 9/16/14 at 2:04 a.m., Curtis E. Baker, 20, of 107 Onionville Rd., Hannibal, NY was arrested for DWI, Operating a MV with BAC .08 of 1%, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, 7th degree, No Plate Lamp and Inadequate Muffler following a traffic stop on Durbin Rd. in the Town of Hannibal. Mr. Baker was released on an appearance ticket, returnable to the Town of Hannibal Court on 10/9/14.

On 9/09/14 at 8:40 a.m., Noah J. Christian, 28, of CR 15, Lacona, NY, was charged with Speed Over the State Speed Limit and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Third Degree, following a traffic stop on SR 3 in the Town of Richland. Mr. Christian was released on tickets returnable to Town of Richland Court on 9/22/14.

On 9/11/14, Richard O. Kent, Jr., 26, of 14002 SR 370, Red Creek, NY, was arrested for Burglary, Third Degree, a class D felony, and Grand Larceny, Fourth Degree, a class E felony, after he was accused of unlawfully entering a Town of Hannibal business on or about 8/02/14 and stealing four chain saws valued in excess of $1,000.00. Mr. Kent was arraigned before Town of Hannibal Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 bail bond. He is scheduled to return to court on 10/28/14.

On 9/10/14 at 10:41 p.m., Stephanie S. Goutremout, 30, of 3 Barbara Lane, Camillus, NY, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, and Crossed Official/Harzardous Road Markings, after she reportedly drove her 2004 Chevrolet off the east side of CR 8 in the Town of Granby and struck a fire hydrant. The incident reportedly occurred 1/4 of a mile south of Best Drive. Ms. Goutremout was arraigned before Town of Hannibal Court and released on her own recognizance. She is scheduled to answer the charges before Town of Granby Court on 9/29/14.

On 9/13/14, Joseph T. Nichols, 29, of 509 S. Fifth St., Fulton, NY, was operating a 2003 Pontiac suburban westbound on Rowlee Road in the Town of Volney at 3:57 a.m., when he reportedly drove off the roadway and struck a utility pole 1/10 of a mile west of Distin Road, then struck the residence located at 834 Rowlee Road before coming to rest in a ditch. He then reportedly left the scene. A passenger, Amanda L. Allen, 29, was transported by ambulance to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse. Alcohol and unsafe speed appear to have been contributing factors. Mr. Nichols was issued tickets for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Second Degree; Reckless Driving; Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident; and Speed Not Reasonable and Prudent.

On 9/13/14, William L. Calkins, 46, of 1153 CR 12, Lot B18, Pennellville, NY, was operating a 1996 Chrysler westbound on CR 12 in the Town of Schroeppel at 10:13 a.m. when he collided with a 2005 Buick operated by Michele M. Vargason, 26, of 704 Bear St., Syracuse, NY. The incident occurred at the intersection of CR 57A when Ms. Vargason reportedly failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign. Ms. Vargason was subsequently issued a ticket for Failed to Yield the Right of Way at a Stop Sign Intersection.

On 9/13/14, Adam J. Kingsley, 27, of 1226 CR 7, Hannibal, NY, was operating a 2006 Ford southbound on CR 7 in the Town of Hannibal at 3:55 p.m. when he reportedly collided with a northbound 1999 Chevrolet driven by Andrew L. Campbell, 31, of 9 Hogsback Road Hastings. The incident occurred 175 feet south of Stock Road, when, while attempting to make a left hand turn into his driveway, he failed to yield the right of way. Mr. Kingsley was issued a ticket for Failure to Yield Right of Way, Left Hand Turn.

On 9/13/14, Michele L. Hallock, 48, of 23 Elm St., Camden, NY, was operating a 2005 Chevrolet eastbound on Stone Hill Road in the Town of Williamstown at 10:13 p.m. when she lost control 2/10 of a mile west of Ball Road. The vehicle reportedly veered onto the south shoulder of the roadway into loose gravel and fishtailed as she attempted to gain control. Reportedly overcorrecting, the vehicle exited the north side of the roadway where it overturned before coming to rest upright facing north. Ms. Hallock's passenger, Michael R. Hallock, Sr., was transported by ambulance to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse. Failure to keep right appears to have been a contributing factor in the incident.
